The living room area has a futon that folds down into a bed for extra sleeping space. Kitchen contains 2 burner propane top (w/2 propane tanks) and vintage mini fridge. Wood burning stove for heat and cooking in the winters. Window a/c unit + additional stand alone dehumidifier for comfort in the summers. There is a huge porch that runs the length of the cabin, with a seating area, hammock, and outdoor double sink utilizing a rainwater system. Separate outhouse steps away with incinerator toilet, water heater and shower, which runs on a gravity fed supply of approx 350 gallons on top of the hill. The cabin is located in an outdoor enthusiasts paradise - hiking trails (including portions of the renowned Ozark Trail), equestrian trails, kayaking/canoeing (outfitters nearby if you don't have your own), swimming, fishing and wildlife. Clear rivers and amazing blue springs (Current & Jack's Fork Rivers, Round Spring, Blue Spring and Alley Spring). It is private, hidden away on a hill surrounded by trees, on about 5 acres near Mark Twain forest & Angeline Conservation Area, and cannot be seen from the road. 4wd necessary to clear the driveway, otherwise you park on the road and hike up! There is no city water or well (off-grid) and replenishing the water supply is your responsibility. (I haul my drums to one of the local campsites for free refills).
