I know the asking price is above the Zestimate, I'm not sure how to get Zillow to evaluate the property including the work we've have done to it, so the zestimate is based on the condition of the house when we purchased it before any work was done. It was remodeled 2020-2023, but we ended up moving for an unexpected job opportunity in the summer of 2023. We thought about renting it and it was inspected and licensed by the city of St.Cloud in 2024, but we decided not to take on the burden of trying to rent it from a distance. 30 year roof in 2020 on the house and garage. Located in historic area, 1/2 block to Munsinger garden, the river, the dam, fishing pier, huge huge park, walking trails, disc golf course, and dog park. Within several blocks there are multiple other parks, Talhi elementary and the university is right across the river. Really a fantastic location, and great neighbors. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, plus finished basement which could easily become an additional bedroom, but since we didn't need it as a bedroom we used it as a home office/den/guest bedroom/home gym/etc.., there is also a small workshop area in the utility room, which we used for all kinds of projects where a mess might happen, it's so much more useful than you would think to have a mess-safe room in the house, but it could be easily converted into a bathroom and closet if a bedroom in the basement was wanted. The large master suite includes his and hers walk in closets, and a full bathroom. Huge living room, formal dining room, entry way with closet, and main floor laundry. Kitchen has TONS of counter space and cabinet space, including a breakfast nook overlooking the back yard and 3 season porch. The porch was used as sort of an outdoor living room and is set up for a wall mounted tv, tons of windows and still private feeling. Stairs off the dining room lead to an upstairs hallway with a closet for blankets, a full bathroom, and two bedrooms with large closets. There is original hardwood underneath the flooring throughout the house, we considered restoring them, and went as far as restoring one of the upstairs bedrooms, but ultimately never took it beyond that room. So one room is carpeted, it's new carpet, installed literally 2 weeks before we ended up moving, and the other has the restored original hardwood. When we purchased the house, it had been immaculately maintained since a structural remodel in the early 90's, by the elderly owners before we bought it. It was like stepping into a time capsule, everything was in brand new condition, but 30 years old. They were slowing down the last few years before they moved to Florida, and the landscaping was insanely out of control when we purchased the house. It took a few years but the landscaping was finally tamed and it's set up for easy maintenance in the summer and winter. The garage is an oversized 1 car, and 2-3 cars fit in the driveway. We planned on being in this place for a long time, and it was treated and remodeled with the idea of being a home, not just a house that we were going to rent out or flip. We hope whoever purchases this house will find as many good memories in it as we did, and I know the owners before us did, and that it can become your home too, and not just a house.
