This is the Belle Williams home built in 1938 and used as her winter home and antique store for the treasures from her world travels until her death in 1952. She is buried approximately a mile away at the Williams Burial Plot off Farm View Road. The home was moved to our family farm land from its original location in 2007 and remodeled over the course of years with a metal roof added and 40'X12' front Deck added once set on its new block foundation and brick underpinning. All orginsl glass pane windows were replaced with high efficiency replacement windows...Heart Pine floors throughout and were restored in 2008. Approx 9' ceilings...All original electrical replaced. Screened back porch was enclosed with germsn wood siding and made into an additional room/utility) there are total of 8 rooms plus hallways and closets. Enter back door into kitchen with views east and south facing...next is dining room with china cabinet built in windows facing east...then you enter the largest room of the house...living room/den with front door (leading onto front deck) and 2 windows east facing with a west wall centered fireplace and mantle at heart of home...to the north it joins corner study that leads into utility room that replaced rear screened side porch...the bath and attic access is entered from left side of living area west facing...here is a hallway with 2 closets and door access to both bedrooms and bathroom...guest (second bedroom is SW corner of the home) while the much bigger Master bedroom is center rear west facing with 3 big windows facing direction of the sunset...it has 2 closets and overhead storage above closet as well as built in bookshelves and cabiets...the 2nd bedroom has one closet with overhead storage above closet as well...all closets through entire house (5 total) have built in shelving...originsl brick chimney was removed in 2007 to accommodate the house moving...i know have a fireplace insert in living room and mounted an in wall safe in master bedroom where it used to connect accross heat pipe from fireplace. About 2/3 of the 5 acres are garden and row crop farmland. Approximately an acre is wooded and remaining is grass lawn and additional structures. Ideal for someone to have a self sufficient homestead which was my idea for place before my health failed.
