Nestled in the heart of Nature, this one of a kind Lodge, has been a healing retreat and event space for the past 5 years.
This unique property is 3 miles off a major hwy, up a gravel road.
This Lodge was remodeled in 2019/2020. Upgraded with modern kitchen cupboards and counter tops, appliances, modern bathrooms, flooring and more. The Lodge has a wonderful downstairs, which has been used as a event/healing space. The upstairs has been used as our living quarters.
This one of a kind home, The Lodge, is tongue in groove cedar, inside and out that has been maintained lovingly. Amazing storm windows that offer a spectacular view of the surrounding forest.
The central point of the Lodge is the amazing octagon stone fireplace. It sits in the center of the Lodge, both upstairs and downstairs.
Inside the fireplace is the duct work for heating the Lodge thru wood or propane. With the flip of a couple switches one can turn off the propane and heat the Lodge with wood. One can build the fire up at night, close the doors and then get up in the morning, add a bit of wood to the coals to get the fire going again. With each wall and every wall being well insulated, it keeps the Lodge cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This is one of its amazing attributes.
A nice fire, a good book, the trees swaying in the wind as the birds sing, is by far one of the best feelings.
The Lodge has two kitchens (one upstairs and one downstairs. The property has a gazebo, a woodshed or undercover picnic area, an art studio, a well house, two shops (we turned one into a bunkhouse), a barn 20x40 as well as a yurt.
It also has camp site spaces, 3 outdoor showers with on demand hot water heaters, 2 soaking tubs and a sauna.
This lovely space offers wonderful trails to wander, two ponds, a creek (Sadd creek) a beaver dam. and two gardens.
We have named it Spirit's Grove, after the most amazing rescue horse one will ever meet.
Spirit's Grove has 7 acres which hold the Lodge, the outbuildings and gardens as well as 33+ acres of amazing forest with 25+ different varieties of edible mushrooms that grow seasonally.
You will also find a forest garden, an octopus rock garden, and a multitude of herbs and berries to forage for.

The driveway is over 800 feet long with a coded gate to access it. Privacy and Peace surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
The Lodge could come furnished or unfurnished.

The trail cams have shown us deer, elk, bear, bobcats, cougar, coyote, raccoons, beavers and more. This beautiful space has so much to offer to the right people.
The forest beckons one to wander and sit quietly while listening to its sounds.
