This bungalow-style ranch is near Gunning Park Recreation Center and convenient to the MetroParks, I-71, I-480, Cleveland Hopkins Airport and to public transportation.
Note: the house is currently rented. The closing date is negotiable, but to be after 1/2/2025. The outside photos are current, the inside photos are from 2010 just before the current tenant moved in. Please expect some wear and tear. If the home is still available after the tenant moves out, I will update the photos. All viewings need to be scheduled with a minimum of 24-hour notice for the tenant.
The kitchen features Kraftmaid cabinets and granite counter tops, a dishwasher, under cabinet lighting and an electric range with vinyl floors. The first floor bath has a pedestal sink, a vanity, a toilet, and a 5-foot tub/shower. The bath window has been updated to a glass block window, and the bath floor is tile. The balance of the first floor includes a living room area and two bedrooms with hardwood floors.
The basement has a painted concrete floor and painted tile block walls. The basement ceiling has been drywalled. There is an entertainment area wired for 5.1 surround sound, and there is a combined basement bath and laundry space featuring a 6' jetted tub, wall-mount sink and toilet, a small stainless utility sink, and a tiled floor. Nothing in the basement is counted as finished square feet, but it has been improved enough to add practical living space.
The main electric panel was updated to 200 Amps with 100 Amp electric service in the detached garage. Central forced air furnace and electric air conditioning was installed during the airport sound remediation program along with new vinyl windows in the late 1990s or early 2000s. The basement has glass block windows. The detached garage roof was replaced in 2017. The plumbing supply lines are copper, with hot and cold shutoffs for different fixtures right next to the water heater. The front lawn is Zoysia grass, which has a tendency to brown out in the fall. It does a great job of choking out weeds and greens up nicely in the Spring.
Negative things I know about the property: the detached garage is the low point in the back yard, so during heavy rains, the garage floor will get wet and hold water until the condition passes. Do not store moisture-sensitive items in the garage. The wood trim on the front awning has flaking paint that I just did not get to repaint this fall; the wood appears to be solid so I believe it only needs painted. The roof is, as far as I know, still working with no noted leaks. However, it is old and replacing it should be budgeted in the near future. It is my belief that the large tree in the
back yard has shaded the roof from the hot sun and extended its life. Finally, I expect the inside to need paint and minor cosmetic refreshing.
