The market value is $330,000. We are listing it privately for the next month or so which allows us to reduce the price since we aren't responsible for paying real estate agent commissions. The price is FIRM and gives you plenty of cushion if you choose to do any updates. It's move it ready but if we stayed there, we would probably update the sliding glass doors in the back and eventually we'd put a new roof on it as the current roof is over 20 years old. That said, there are no issues with either of these things.
We are the 2nd owners and have lived in this home for over 6 years. We LOVE it. The commute to Wilmington for work has taken it's toll and therefore this home is for sale. If we could pick this house up and move it, we would. It is well crafted, very well built, and we love the split floor plan.
The home is on a well and septic but both county water and sewer are available if you wish to connect. We like the idea of still having water with no "boil" emergencies every time the community water system has an issue. We also like not having a monthly water bill.
I was going to put up a separate detached garage in the back yard a few years ago but decided against it. Hence the large stone area behind the house. It's a great place for extra parking or use your imagination. Or simply buy a pallet or two of sod and put grass back there.
