Location is excellent; just 1 block west of the Osceola National Forest Entrance. This is an ideal location for an Air BNB type lodge. This is an old country farmhouse restoration project, that is roughly 50% completed, so not currently tenable. We restored the timber rotted frame with new Joists, truss and beams, tongue and groove walls, plywood sub-floor and cement board finish on bathroom interior with original wood lap siding on the outside, to match original. Structure is now sound, but it needs a roof, Kitchen & Bath fixtures, plumbing and electrical overhaul.
Neighboring properties are worth $200K or more so investing another $30-35K in this property would net an investor $60K or more depending on how well landscaped it ends up being. Not in a hurry to sell, just too many projects to give this one proper attention at present. There aren't many properties on Gum Swamp Road, the West entrance to the Osceola National Forest, that are for sale.
